While it is true that all the built-in features work incredibly well providing the driver an easy personal navigation, TomTom XXL 540S is deemed to be good only for travel within America because this GPS navigator does not have enough room for expansion. Travelling outside the US will mean the necessity to download applicable maps which this unit is not ready for. If you are equipped with external memory device, then the issue is closed.

The “Help Me!” Menu means an added confidence for the driver as that feature allows quick navigation to the nearest local emergency providers. And it is a 5” screen at an amazingly good price.
